Deliver Conference - 2017 Recap

Deliver Conference - 2017 Recap

Regardless of preferred methodology, we all believe in delivering customer value.

The skills required to lead successful digital projects has never been so in demand. Experts from all industries—with a variety of backgrounds and job titles—are leading projects that are rooted in making digital experiences for users. Leading these projects can be complicated and frustrating, but also be rewarding, and enjoyable. This conference and the opportunity to discuss these topics and the challenges of our work together, reminds us of that.

In January 2017 we held our fourth conference and this year saw us rebrand to Deliver Conference. Over two days of workshops and talks, we proved that the job of managing digital projects isn’t just fun, it’s for everyone who cares about the quality—and delivery—of their work. Our re-brand reflected that – whether you’re a digital project manager, producer, scrum master, product owner, creative director, developer, content strategist, team lead…or any of the hundreds of roles that contribute to digital projects, you must know that you are a part of this community. A community of people who care about how projects are run.

We’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to so many people: everyone who came along to the conference, all our excellent sponsors, those who helped make the day really special, our speakers who gave up their time to come and give talks, run workshops, join our panel, moderate the conference, and everyone who ensured the event ran smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you and it’s what makes the effort worth it. It was a really great few days and we’re looking forward to next year.

Each year we are pleased to support 3-4 people who are starting out on their journey of public speaking to join us and present for 10 minutes. Every year we have been astounded by the quality of these talks and are very proud to say that a lot of these speakers have gone on to talk internationally.
