Expectations, presumptions, pressure: being a new PM

Expectations, presumptions, pressure: being a new PM

Rebecca Troth - Project Manager

Having been a Project Manager for just over a year, I still consider myself to be new to the business and learning on the job. My PM journey has been one similar to that of a rollercoaster, blindfolded. From working with large, high-pressure clients like The British Heart Foundation to small but needy startups – I really have maxed out my experience meter.

In this talk I would like to get into the nitty gritty of being a new Project Manager and the expectations, presumptions and pressures involved. I take my work very seriously, but I far from take myself seriously so bring a smile and also, maybe, a G&T.
